H + S spent the night in a cozy cabin nestled in the woods below Mt. Baker. They wanted to have an intentionally slow morning together, making pancakes, sipping coffee and enjoying their surroundings by spending some time getting steamy in the hot tub.
After helping each other get dressed and ready for the day, we drove up to the mountain. H + S wanted to spend time in the places they love to visit together, so we spent some time adventuring through beautiful meadows and down to a lake with the most beautiful bridge that felt like it jumped right off the pages of a fairytale.
Mt Baker was pretty covered in clouds this day, but Mt Shuksan was showing off in style. We ventured up to Artist point for a picnic, cake, champagne and a beautiful sunset. This area is just stunning with so many trails and alpine lakes with mountains for backdrops. It’s almost unreal. After catching some views and vibes along a beautiful alpine lake we stopped to enjoy a beautiful picnic to celebrate. Before it was dark we were back at the cars making the drive down the mountain as the last glimmers of light faded.

Oregon weather is notoriously unpredictable. We get a lot of rain here, which we love, it makes everything green and lush, but what if it rains on your elopement day? I got you. I always have some back up plans in my back pocket. But honestly, I will encourage you to embrace the weather as much as possible, we can still get gorgeous photos even if the weather isn't on our side. Some of my fave photos were taken in less than ideal weather! But have no fear, I've got you covered!
