Oregon Coast Senior Adventure Session
We ran away to explore the Oregon Coast for the afternoon and it turned out so magical.
I grew up in Springfield and spent countless days at the Oregon Coast, it’s a place that is near and dear to my heart and one that I love to share with others! When Malaya wanted to do here senior adventure session at the coast I was, of course, all in!
We stopped at one of my favorite trails, it’s called Hobbit trail, and if you’re into hikes you have to check it out! It’s a beautiful costal hike, from the historic Heceta Head Lighthouse, to Carl G. Washburne Memorial State Park. You can find the trailhead pretty easily nestled between the two along hwy 101 or you can start at either end and go all the way to the other side! We stopped at the trailhead and didn’t have to go far to get to one of my favorite forest spots!
One I am in love with doing these longer adventure sessions for senior portraits is, just that. Time. When you have the whole afternoon to explore, we can find these cool spots that may just be a random turn out on the hwy, but become a favorite location and set of images from the shoot. This stop was not planned, but it was a spot I’d always wondered about and a view that I loved, Malaya was down to stop and try it out. OMG! I’m so glad we took the chance.
We finished the day at a beautiful little beach about 35 min north of Florence, Oregon. This one is small and often empty, and beautiful as everything! I love that we were able to incorporate some of Malaya’s amazing talents into this shoot as well. She MADE the dress pictured above. Freaking gorgeous!
If you’re looking for senior photos, I’m your girl! Especially if you are down to explore somewhere in this beautiful state that you love!
